ATAS Archive PSA

The Academy of Televsion Arts and Sciences is developing an archive of testimonies by people who were involved in the early days of television. This PSA had Noah Wiley from "E.R." and James Garner promoting the project by asking for financial support and seeking out people worthy of being included in the archive.

The PSA was produced by Michael Rosen and Built-D Media, and directed by Rob Moniot and Taz Goldstien. As we were scouting locations, 22 hours before we were to shoot, the format was changed from Betacam to 35mm. We scrambled and put a crew and a camera package together and made it work. We shot on the "Party of Five" barroom and class room sets. The PSA aired on the 1996 Primetime Emmy Awards Telecast.
