Big Time

Elliot Soloman and Pete Gardner colaborated on this pilot about independent film production. It's the story of "Chandler Casey" a film school graduate who just won some recognition for his student film, escaping from his hick family and going to Hollywood to seek his fortune. After being turned away from the big studios, he lands at a B-movie production company, and is hired as a script reader.

It's sort of a Zany version of The Big Picture" starring Kevin Bacon. The Characters are cartoon versions of some of the people Elliot knew in his work in B-movie production. Several members of the "Groundlings" improve group were cast to give a bizaar twist to the characters. "Big Time" was shot over three days on location in Los Angeles, including the offices of a B-movie producion company.
